Your clinic's front desk answering WhatsApp, 24 hours a day
In healthcare, the person looking for care rarely waits. They write late in the afternoon, over the weekend or in the middle of the night, and when nobody answers they move on to the next clinic on the list. SDRBOT answers the moment the message arrives, runs the triage your front desk would run, fits the patient into the right provider's calendar and confirms before the visit — without your team having to step away from the person standing at the counter to check a phone.

A message that lands after hours sits unanswered until the front desk opens, and by then the patient has an appointment somewhere else.
The front desk interrupts the person at the counter to answer WhatsApp, and both jobs come out half done.
A patient books and never shows up, because nobody had time to confirm the day before.
A real conversation in healthcare
What it qualifies before handing the lead over
- The main concern and how long it has been going on, to route to the right specialty
- First visit or follow-up, which changes how long the slot has to be
- Insurance or out of pocket, and which plan, answered from your clinic's own list
- Preferred time of day and location, when you see patients at more than one address

Triage before scheduling, not after
Scheduling without triage is what produces a visit with the wrong provider and a follow-up nobody needed. The SDR asks what the front desk would ask: what the main concern is, how long it has been going on, whether this is a first visit or a follow-up, whether the patient will use insurance or pay out of pocket, and which plan.
With those answers in hand, it fits the patient into the right specialist's calendar in that first conversation. What reaches your team is a finished appointment with the conversation history attached, not an "I'd like to book something" that still needs three messages back and forth.
Insurance answered on the spot, without asking anyone
"Do you take my insurance?" is the question that stalls more clinic conversations than any other, and the one that depends most on somebody who knows the answer being free at that moment.
The SDR is trained on the list of plans your clinic accepts, broken out by specialty when the contracts differ, and answers right away. When a plan is not accepted, it presents the out-of-pocket price instead of ending the conversation — which is where most of these messages are lost.
Automatic confirmation before the visit
A missed appointment is almost always forgetfulness, not a change of mind. Confirming fixes it, and it is the first task the front desk drops when the day gets tight.
SDRBOT sends the confirmation on its own, at whatever interval you set before the visit. Whoever confirms stays on the calendar. Whoever answers that they cannot make it frees the slot in time to offer it to another patient — and the SDR offers it, to whoever was waiting for an opening.
What your team gains
- An out-of-network plan becomes an out-of-pocket priceThe list of accepted plans is answered by specialty, and whoever is not covered gets the out-of-pocket price in the same conversation.
- The front desk gets the counter backWhatsApp stops competing for the attention of whoever is helping the patient who just walked in.
- A full calendar with the triage already doneThe provider sees the right patient, with the concern and the insurance already on file.
- An open slot gets used againWhoever cancels frees the opening, and the SDR offers it to whoever is on the wait list.
Frequently asked questions
Does the SDR have access to patient records?
It records what the person writes in the conversation so it can schedule: name, contact, reported concern and insurance. That history stays in your clinic's account, with per-user access control, and is not used to train any model. The SDR does not touch the chart or the clinical system.
Can it give medical advice?
No, and that is deliberate. The SDR does administrative triage — specialty, reported urgency, insurance and calendar. Diagnosis and treatment belong to the provider. When the conversation moves toward clinical advice, it hands the conversation to your team.
What happens when the case is urgent?
You define the situations that call for immediate attention, and the SDR hands the conversation to somebody on your team right then, instead of continuing the scheduling script. The handoff is immediate and the whole conversation goes with it.
